The St. Peter’s 2023 Annual Women’s Retreat took place at the Redstone Inn in Redstone, Colorado, from October 27–29. It was a meaningful time for eighteen women to worship together, relax, take in the natural beauty of the location, and get to know one another better. The routine allowed quiet time for contemplation as well as a thoughtful program where we considered poetry as prayer—deepening faith through poetry and learning ways to listen for God in poetry. We shared favorite poems and we laughed and we learned and we worshipped. We played fun get-to-know-you games, joined an optional stretch yoga class, enjoyed fine dining, and were greeted by a gentle snowfall on Sunday morning.
